I'm getting mine repainted and after talking to the shop telling them what I was expecting and how I can help with some of the tear down and rebuild... they were more than happy to have me lend a hand. I showed up last week unannounced... the guy working on my car had the shop manual and my notebook full of twinturbo.net faq how-to's opened... which I take as a good sign... they aren't just taking things apart blind like I've seen some shops do.
